About This Business
Yes, Best Wire Mesh Fencing is found in an RV park. Don’t panic – it’s legit 🙂
My wife and I were looking for wire mesh fencing (also known as “hardware cloth”) for a garden project. While picking out a roll of the stuff at a local hardware retailer, I remembered doing some internet research a few weeks prior to locate different types of fencing and came across a wire mesh fencing outfit. I couldn’t recall the name of the company, so I grabbed my smartphone and Googled a couple of keywords. Seconds later Best Wire Mesh Fencing appeared. Yep, that was the company. And by the looks of it, we figured out that we’d get about twice the amount of fencing for the same price as the store brand.
So we put our almost purchased hardware cloth back, walked out of the store and called the number on the website: 520-222-9304. We were greeted with a friendly voice, who turned out to be the owner – Mike. He was very cordial and patient as we described what we were looking for. He told us some of our options and gave us the address to go see the products and pick out what we needed.
The address is not a storefront. Rather, it’s a large shipping container located at an RV park … call Apache Village. Take E. Rex St. until you see the sign for the RV park. Enter the facility and look for spot #13 (it’s on the left, with a white pickup truck usually parked next to the RV).
This is where a fellow named Ron lives. Ron is a friend of Mike’s who helps with taking you to the container, opening it up, letting you decide what you want, and loading it into your vehicle. Ron also takes care of the money transaction via credit card, cash or check.
But before you rendezvous with Ron, it’s important that you call Mike (520-222-9304) so he can coordinate with Ron. Our experience was great. I phoned Mike, he put me on hold and spoke to Ron. He took me off of hold and let me know that Ron would be waiting for us.
When you get to Ron’s RV, you may have to knock on his door to let him know that you’re there to have a look at the wire mesh fencing.
As far as Best Wire Mesh Fencing is concerned, they feel their product is superior in quality and craftsmanship. Mike personally sourced an overseas manufacturer, (which took him over a year to find the right one) to handle the production. Mike spec’d a “hot dipped” galvanizing process that immerses (a 5 step operation) the wire mesh into a vat of molten zinc. This produces a flexible, long-lasting, higher quality fence than what you typically find in big box and hardware stores.
Best Wire Mesh Fence also offers hardware cloth with a vinyl coating. This is not always in stock. Make sure to call Mike for price and availability prior to your trip.
An unconventional way of purchasing a product? For sure. But the process was seamless for us once we followed Mike’s instructions and got Ron’s help.
If you’re in search of a very competitively priced, high-quality product and don’t mind an adventure, then a visit to Best Wire Mesh Fencing is for you.
Discounts available for multiple roll purchases. See website for details. For quantities over 60 rolls, call for quote.
