Sandy Villegas of Luna’s Paper Designs returns to Tohono Chul with something a little different from her usual paper creations, but a lot of fun! Join us to learn how to make your own flour tortillas. Sandy, a Puebla, Mexico native later moved to Sonora, Mexico before coming to the United States. Her papier mâché skills transfer to kitchen where she will demonstrate and guide you through the complete process from making the dough to cooking your flour tortillas. Ingredients will be provided. Please bring a large mixing bowl and a wooden rolling pin. Each student will make ~ 10 flour tortillas.
