Learn how to create a beautiful Tree of Life with papier-mâché in our first Day of the Dead crafts session with Sandy Luna of Luna’s Paper Designs. In this bilingual class, you will construct a papier-mâché structure inspired by Izúcar de Matamoros Puebla and decorate it with crafted skulls and flowers. We will be using acrylic paint to bring our sculpture to life. Additionally, you will learn about the history of the Tree of Life in the state of Puebla. The class spans two days, with each session lasting approximately three hours. English or Spanish speakers of all levels are welcomed to join this bilingual class.
