Join fellow LEGO® lovers to put your brick-building skills to the test in this fun-filled, family friendly competition featuring LEGO® experts and mom-son duo Emily and Liam from Season 3 of the Fox reality TV show LEGO® Masters! You will have 2 hours to design and create your very own master build using the pieces provided, around the theme of… well, you’ll have to wait and find out! Emily and Liam will host and judge the event, sprinkling in their LEGO® stories and building tips. Top teams will have their builds displayed at TBG and go home with prizes. Are you ready to learn from the masters and prove your building skills?
Audience viewing will be available with garden admission!
Maximum number of people per team will be limited to 4, however we recommend teams of 2. LEGO® Bricks will be provided for each team. Teams will be able to keep the sculptures they make during the event. Winning teams will have their sculptures displayed at Tucson Botanical Gardens until May 14th.

Liam is a LEGO artist who started building with LEGO when he was six years old and has never stopped. For the last five years he has shared his art on his YouTube channel, Brixter. Liam’s LEGO creations won him the Best Sculpture award at Brickfair VA 2019 and the Master Build award at BrickCon 2022. This fall he made huge, original LEGO creations as a contestant on Fox TV’s LEGO Masters Season 3, a LEGO-building reality competition show, with his mother Emily. Liam is currently a freshman at the University of Arizona, studying Film and Television at the College of Fine Arts. He also creates commissioned LEGO art and specialized LEGO content for clients.
Emily is an educator-artist-facilitator, who first got into LEGO as a homeschooling mom of three boys. She coached her oldest son Liam’s FIRST LEGO League team for four years and co-taught LEGO classes with him. This fall Emily was a contestant on Fox’s LEGO Masters Season 3, where she teamed up with Liam to build huge, original LEGO creations. She shares highlights of her LEGO life on Instagram: @legomomemily. Emily received her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She still homeschools and provides her clients with LEGO-based creative experiences that inspire creativity and teamwork.
