Abundant winter rains in the Sonoran Desert bring fields of Mexican gold poppies come spring. Since we cannot rely on Mother Nature to bless us with bountiful rains each winter, learn how to construct your own poppies to brighten up your home year after year! Sandy Villegas of Luna’s Paper Designs will teach you step-by-step how to create two beautiful flowers, a bud, and leaves from Mexican and German crepe paper. You will choose from different colors of crepe paper for your flowers and add some color to your creation for a more realistic look. All supplies are provided. Masks will be required while indoors in keeping with Tohono Chul’s current Covid-19 policies.
