$36 for non-members / 20% Member discount

Our desert is full of inspiration with amazing plants and animals.  Using basic techniques students will learn to break their subject down into simple shapes and draw more accurately. Then we will use multiple layers of color while exploring colored pencil techniques to add vibrancy, color and contrast.

Supplies: Please bring your own colored pencils and a white eraser. Colored pencil paper will be provided by the Gardens.

Instructor

Devon Meyer

As an artist, Devon is constantly inspired by nature. The elaborate patterns and gorgeous colors seen in plants, birds or flowers are reflected in the work she does. Watercolor is her favorite medium but she also works in oil, charcoal, pen and ink and colored pencil.
