Art Supplies included in Price
Use India ink and brush to create dynamic brush sketches and illustrations of iconic southwest animals. We’ll learn about dry and wet-on-wet techniques, as well as how to let go, stay loose and gestural, and embrace a fluid form of working with India ink.
Art supplies will be provided by TBG. Supplies include Bombay or Higgins India ink, one size 8-11 round brush, 140 lb watercolor paper, paper towels, cup for water, pencil and eraser.

Saraiya Kanning is a Tucson artist with a passion for animal subjects. She works across multiple mediums, including ink, watercolor, and silk painting. Saraiya’s art is often characterized by bold, vibrant colors and stylized mark-making. When teaching, she seeks to make art enjoyable and accessible to all.
No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to any Community Class. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds will be issued for special events. We reserve the right to cancel Community Classes due to insufficient registration, garden closure, or inclement weather, in which case, participants will receive a full refund. People with disabilities should make requests for accommodation as early as possible to allow time to make appropriate arrangements.
