Artists’ Talk with Emily & Liam Mohajeri Norris “Building the Impossible: A Mom-Son Duo’s LEGO® Journey”

Ever wondered how large-scale LEGO® sculptures and builds are imagined and crafted? Learn firsthand from LEGO® artists Liam and Emily Mohajeri Norris, whose LEGO® building skills landed them as the first-ever mom-son team on North America’s top brick-building competition – LEGO® Masters Season 3 on Fox.
Emily and Liam will take you through their fascinating LEGO® journey, including Liam’s ambitious, award-winning Spirit Lion LEGO® build – a design he refined after receiving feedback in person from NaturePOP! Sculpture artist Sean Kenney. Emily and Liam will reveal their process used to create small and large builds for LEGO® conventions and TV. With a combination of stories and visuals, they will share building highlights and techniques and explore the role of the artist’s growth mindset. Plus, they will discuss how anyone can enjoy LEGO® more fully — develop their creativity and technical skills, use it to de-stress, connect with others, find joy, and more! Children 5 and under free.
