Monsoon season is the best time of year to discuss frogs and toads, the most diverse group of amphibians on planet Earth. These animals are easy to recognize, but separating the two groups is a bit harder than is often assumed. As with birds, frogs and toads can be identified by their calls and we will play audio recordings of each species. Join us as we explore the surprising diversity of Arizona’s frogs and toads, including their identification, life cycle, distribution, and other aspects of their biology.
