Pique Assiette (Mosaic) Birdbath

A birdbath is the perfect addition to the garden. Especially a beautifully designed mosaic birdbath! Join mosaic artist, David Jarvinen to discover the pique assiette technique using dishes and China for mosaicking. We will have a smorgasbord of materials available but feel free to bring your own dishes to incorporate into your design! We will work in a 14″ terracotta saucer, with thinset to adhere tesserae. A grout kit will be provided to grout after adhesive dries, or schedule time at David’s local studio to finish up your project with guidance. No formal breaks are included so please bring lunch and/or snacks and a beverage.
