SUMMARY:Water Harvester: An Invitation to Abundance — Free Movie Screening
DESCRIPTION:Brad Lancaster believes that Tucson and cities worldwide can live off rainwater. Water Harvester: An Invitation to Abundance is the story of how he transformed one Tucson neighborhood\, Dunbar/Spring\, through water harvesting experimentation. \nTohono Chul will be hosting a screening of the half-hour documentary Water Harvester: An Invitation to Abundance by Arizona Public Media producer/director David Fenster. The screening will take place in the Garden Pavillion and will be followed by a panel discussion with film subject Brad Lancaster\, filmmaker David Fenster\, and Tohono Chul Arts & Engagement Director James Schaub. Representatives from Watershed Management Group and  Arizona Project WET will have tables to answer any and all of your water-related questions and provide additional information. You can also enjoy a personal tour of the current art exhibition The Elements — Water!  \nTickets to this screening are free. He believes that we all can become more conscious beneficial stewards of the land\, and partners in the ecosystem in which we live and that by harvesting water we can all begin to transform our households and neighborhoods from being consumers of resources to generators—and even regenerators—of resources. Brad is the author of “Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands and Beyond” and in 2021 he was awarded Citizen Forester of the Year by the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management. \n\n\n\n\nAbout David Fenster \n\n\nDavid Fenster is a Producer and Reporter at Arizona Public Media.
