DESCRIPTION:Sandy Villegas of Luna’s Paper Designs returns to Tohono Chul with a unique watercolor portrait workshop which utilizes natural dyes that can be found in your own pantry! Frida Kahlo once said\, “I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone\, because I am the person I know best.” Over one-third of her paintings were self-portraits. Learn to paint the iconic artist or look within and create your own self-portrait from natural dyes. All skill levels are welcome. Materials are provided including organic coffee and organic tea. Students are invited to bring cookies and/or pastries to sample the “paint” as they work!
